Another Capitulation Leads to Derby Loss

Celtic were in front Rangers at half-time but a second-half capitulation let the Gers to move level on points with the reigning Scottish Premiership champions. Nancy, who was appointed in December, has now presided over six defeats in eight matches.

“The performance we had at certain moments was really, really, really high. That happened. And I would not say that if it was different. But that’s why, in terms of results, I noted it's a repeating pattern. Which is why I feel we are nearly there to a shift in fortunes. But for the moment: the fine margins.”

“I saw plenty of positives that we did, like today again. But now it’s about sustaining it. My outlook would change if it was not the case. Therefore I firmly believe the team can to fix this.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

Rangers manager was cautious about a title charge despite what appeared to be a landmark win. “One match at a time, so we can really build up something here,” he said. “The belief in the squad is immense.”
