In the extremely cutthroat world of video games, it's usual for emerging rivals to disappear as quickly as they explode onto the stage.
But this new installment is hoping to shift that dynamic.
This is the most recent addition in a long-running warfare game line frequently positioned as a more authentic answer to the CoD series.

"We probably couldn't build and design this new game absent the insights we acquired in Battlefield 2042," Rebecka shares with us.
A key those lessons was to engage the community engaged soon, and the team launched closed player testing sessions earlier this year.
The "response was extremely positive," says Rebecka.
Another omitted element from the last game was a story mode, which has been restored this time around.
The UK studio project head Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the one in charge of "making sure those stages are as enjoyable and interesting as feasible for the audience."
Regardless of claims that the scale of the title had created pressure for the multiple studios collaborating internationally to build the game, the director is positive about the work.
"Partnering with diverse cultures, different backgrounds, it's a truly interesting environment to be engaged with every day," he shares.
"This whole approach has been an innovation but additionally really inspiring because we are collaborating with individuals from around the globe."
Regarding the expectation on the crew, he comments: "We experience pressure but additionally it's thrilling.
"This is a big venture. It's likely the most significant that the majority of the team have ever worked on."
New Talent Brings Innovative Perspective
This is certainly accurate of at least one team member, VFX specialist Vlad.
The 21-year-old makes the lighting elements that influence the atmosphere, tone, and narrative of the single-player campaign.
He finished an internship at the studio before securing a job with them, and presently works on a part-time basis while completing his digital arts studies at his school.
