Loyal fans of the actress are urging that a individual who leaped a barrier and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was set to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed features clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Several followers criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her May 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande looked surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely relationship between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and earned ten Oscar nominations, earning several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
